Emmanuel Adebayor look set for an escape route, with Besiktas calling!

Turkish side Besiktas are set to renew their interest come January transfer window for EMMANUEL ADEBAYOR.
"We were interested in Adebayor in August, says the Beskitas vice president, Ahmet Nur Cebi, has revealed it is the club's intentions to step up their pursuit of Adebayor. The club will chase Adebayor again in January, but it is difficult to recruit such a player," he told Besiktas TV.
The former Arsenal striker has been frozen out by manager Andre Villas-Boas following the arrival of Roberto Soldado in the summer and was told to train with the club's reserves.
The 29-year-old joined Spurs initially on-loan from Manchester City in 2011 before making the move to White Hart Lane permanent the following the summer.
Adebayor, however, has struggled to recapture the form shown in that first season in which he scored an impressive 18 times in 37 appearances.
It is likely Villas-Boas will allow Adebayor to leave the club as he steps up his pursuit to bring a striker in to support Soldado and Jermain Defoe.
