Telecommunications giants Globacom have backed the Golden Eaglets of Nigeria to beat Iran in today’s Under-17 World Cup clash, and even go all the way to lift the trophy.

In a statement released by Globacom earlier in the week, the company urged the Eaglets to re-enact their winning streak, adding that their high goal-scoring form is testament to their abilities.
“With the superlative form displayed by the team so far, we are confident that Nigeria can go all the way to win the trophy on November 8.”
In other news, the statement also praise Nigeria’s female Under-20 team, the falconets, for their 10-0 win in the first leg final round of the Canada 2014 Fifa Under-20 Women World Cup qualifier in Abuja on Saturday.
The Golden Eaglets face their Iranian counterparts at the Sheikh Khalifa International Stadium in Al Ain by 5pm today.
